The Stroke Life Center has achieved a remarkable accomplishment by transforming a simple meeting between two stroke survivors into a thriving, one-of-a-kind community resource serving over 100 stroke survivors and caregivers across seven counties. As one of only four centers in the nation dedicated to post-rehabilitation life skill development, the Stroke Life Center has filled a critical gap in stroke recovery. It has successfully created a sustainable model of care that empowers survivors to regain independence, supports caregivers, and fosters a connected, informed, and compassionate community. This growth reflects not only the Stroke Life Center’s commitment to its mission, but also its lasting impact on the lives it touches every day.
